MAASTRICHT
The Burgundian city of Maastricht is 18 km away. Ideal for shopping in one of the unique streets with small and special shops. Such as Stokstraat and Rechtstraat with many special boutiques. Also the nice shopping center; Mosae Forum with a spacious parking garage underneath, is worth a visit. AACHEN
Less than 20 km away is the German city Aachen where, in addition to an extensive range of historical sites and culture, a large number of shops can be found. In addition to numerous branches of well-known clothing, shoe and cosmetics stores, there are also many small boutiques and specialty shops in Aachen. The most important shopping streets can be found around the cathedral, the town hall and the Elisenbrunnen. Of course there are also numerous bakeries in the Aachen town center where you can buy the best-known specialty of Aachen: ‘The printing”.
LIEGE
Liège is about 35 km away and is definitely worth a visit. There are plenty of nice shops to be found, among others in the ‘La Cárre’ district and in the Galeries St. Lambert shopping center. Besides the nice local shops there are also branches of the big brands. The other large shopping center of Liège, Médiacité, is located on the other side of the river Maas near the RTBF building. More than one hundred and twenty different stores can be found in this shopping center. Every Sunday morning there is a five kilometer long market on the banks of the Maas called ‘La Batte’. This market is one of the major crowd pullers of the city of Liège and can be found on the Quai de Maestricht.
